A SPOOKY SWEATER MAKES EVERYTHING BETTER

Christmas always seems to get the best ugly jumpers – but not this time. I spent a long time searching last year for the worst knitwear I could find for being spooky on a budget and behold this treacherous result. I can’t remember the precise brand, but it was on eBay from Canada and arrived on the 2nd November, so this year was the first time I got to truly give it some Halloween fun.

For some extra witchy vibes, I paired the jumper with Disturbia’s Hocus jeans, which aptly have ‘Hocus Pokus’ printed down the legs amongst a few other creepy/cute symbols depending on your tastes. The ‘gloves’ are actually some fishnet socks that had seen better days, so I cut the toe section off and fashioned them into armwarmers. Brings back some repressed memories of the emo days, as I’m sure some of you can relate to…

As for the rest of the pictures, it turned out quite well that my cat Toastie is a lil autumnal furball, as she came along to see what was up when I was shooting pictures in the garden and matched really nicely. She’s orange and fat, so could act as her own pumpkin this Halloween too. Soz Toast.

My spooky celebrations were over the weekend, so I’ll be spending actual Halloween chilling indoors and ignoring trick or treaters with some good ol’ horror films. As it’s a Tuesday, I’m pretty sure that’s what most will be doing – let me know in the comments what you guys get up to!
